Türkiye’s Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertas, has been honored by the British magazine Diplomat with the “Diplomat of the Year from Eurasia and the Balkans” award.
The award ceremony, organized by the magazine for the 14th time, presented awards in 10 regional and thematic categories to foreign diplomats serving in London.
Lindsay Hoyle, the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Parliament, attended the ceremony, hosted by Adam Fleming, a senior correspondent of the British broadcasting organization BBC.
During the ceremony, Türkiye’s Ambassador Ertas was awarded the “Diplomat of the Year from Eurasia and the Balkans.”
