The Bulgarian athletes snagged three gold, four silver, and two bronze medals at the Balkan U18 Championships in Maribor.
Radina Velichkova won the gold in the women’s 100 m and also beat the national record by finishing in 11.48 seconds. She also won the silver in the women’s 4×100 m relay together with Iva Deliverska, Kristina Petkova, and Anna Milanova. The four athletes set a national record by finishing in 47.11 seconds.
Dimo Andreev won the gold medal in the men’s hammer throw.
