Hungary will aim to speed up the European Union integration of Western Balkans countries during its upcoming EU rotating presidency, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at an OECD conference in Paris on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Presenting Hungary’s plans for its EU presidency in the second half of this year, Szijjártó said the government was to hold intergovernmental conferences with all five EU member candidates of the region.
